On Wednesday, September 23^rd, 2009, you can have your cake (or in this case, maple coconut bread pudding) and eat it too! The folks at Good Girl Dinette have generously offered to donate the night’s tips to support PDUB Productions through our PWC Fundraiser. Big thanks to PDUB Community Advisory Board Member Eric Wat for making this tasty bit of philanthropy happen.

Located in Highland Park, Good Girl Dinette was just recently named to Jonathan Gold’s Annual LA Weekly 99 Essential L.A. Restaurants. It’s “American Diner Meets Vietnamese Comfort Food.” Mr. Gold is a fan of the spicy fries, the biscuit-topped curried chicken potpie and the clove-spiked beef stew. Vegetarians and vegans need not worry though; there are delicious veggie-friendly options as well (a yummy tofu stew in Vietnamese five-spice + an addictive almond jelly with seasonal citrus syrup).

So come on down to Good Girl Dinette’s Wednesday Do-Good Tip Night and support PDUB Productions and Pilipino Workers’ Center (PWC). Don’t forget to tip well! It’s for a good cause!
